Corrections Policy

CoinMarket News takes accuracy seriously. Crypto and financial markets can move quickly, and new information can emerge after publication. When we identify a factual error, we aim to correct it promptly and transparently.

What we correct

• Material factual errors, such as incorrect names, dates, figures, quotations, or descriptions.
• Incorrect or incomplete source attribution.
• Links that materially prevent readers from reaching the cited original source.

How corrections are handled

Minor typographical or formatting errors may be fixed without a separate notice when they do not change the meaning of a story. Material factual corrections should be reflected in the article and may include a visible correction note describing the change.

We generally do not silently change a material factual claim merely because a source later changes its position. In developing stories, updates should make clear when new information has been added.

How to request a correction

Send the article URL, identify the specific statement at issue, and provide reliable supporting information. Primary documents, official statements, filings, or other verifiable sources are especially helpful.
